FORCE CRASHES IN VIRGINA

Sixteen-time NHRA Funny Car world champion John Force suffered a traumatic brain injury in a crash at the NHRA Virginia Nationals, and Jack Beckman replaced him for the final eight races of the season.

WINNER-TAKE-ALL IN PRO STOCK

Greg Anderson won his sixth Pro Stock championship in a winner-take-all final-round victory at the season finale, where he edged teammate Dallas Glenn in a dramatic showdown.

GORDON MAKES HISTORY

Third-generation Top Alcohol Funny Car racer Maddi Gordon won her first national event in Seattle and made history as the 100th different woman to win in NHRA competition.

After a pair of wins in Top Alcohol Dragster in 2023, Stewart made his Pro debut in 2024, taking over driving duties for his wife, Top Fuel standout Leah Pruett, as the couple focused on starting a family. Stewart advanced to a pair of Top Fuel final rounds, four semifinals, a berth in the Countdown to the Championship, and a ninth-place finish in points.
