PERFORMANCE PARADE

Fans saw the three quickest and 10 fastest Pro Stock passes in history, the quickest and four fastest Funny Car runs, and three of the four quickest Top Fuel passes.

FEMALE MILESTONE

With her Funny Car win at the NHRA Kansas Nationals in Topeka, Kan., Courtney Force earned the 100th victory by a female Pro driver in NHRA national event competition.

FOREIGN INVASION

Australian Steve Harker became the first non-American racer to win an NHRA world championship, titling in Top Alcohol Funny Car. Fellow Aussie Richie Crampton was named NHRA Rookie of the Year.

BOGACKI GOES BACK-TO-BACK

A year after winning the Super Comp championship, Luke Bogacki won the title again, this time in Super Gas, with five wins in six final rounds and a record points total of 731.
